FALL SYMPOSIUM

This annual symposium represents the wide array of cancer related research taking place Harvard-wide. Speakers from both basic and applied fields represent labs from the various Harvard-affiliated institutions.

SPRING SYMPOSIUM

An event aimed at motivating and inspiring our graduate students. In addition to an invited research seminar, students have the chance to hear experts in the field give non-traditional talks, such as "My Journey to becoming an HMS Professor". Part of the Spring Symposium is The Karin Grunebaum Poster Competition

SEMINARS

The DF/HCC Connect Science and Seminars in Oncology Series invites nationally recognized cancer biology researchers each week.

STUDENT DATA CLUB

This student-only forum allows the opportunity to engage in peer review, practice critical questioning skills, and learn about techniques outside one's immediate field. We encourage student presentations on works-in-progress! Student data club is a monthly event.

LCBC FACULTY TALKS

We launched a new series of talks happening online. The talks feature LCBC faculty who will share their recent work in progress as well as provide a look into their career path and their thoughts on what constitutes good science.

CAREER PANEL

This event was created in response to students’ requests for a more comprehensive look into the world of careers in cancer biology. Panelists—drawn from academia, biotech, the pharmaceutical industry, medical writing, and consulting—discussed how they are impacting cancer research in their current careers.

SOCIAL EVENTS

The aim of the social event series is to foster student-student, and student-faculty networking. In this informal atmosphere, students have the chance to get feedback and advice on various aspects of their graduate career or discuss the future of the cancer biology field.
