Eva grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Boston College in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Ancient Civilizations. There, she investigated puncture resistance of fish scales and completed her senior thesis on this work. Following graduation, she pursued her interest in cancer biology and studied the resolution of inflammation in a range of cancer types as a research assistant at Beth Israel. This solidified her passion for cancer research and led her to pursue a PhD in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences program. She joined the lab of Dr. Karen Cichowski and is focused on targeting therapeutic resistance in RAS pathway-driven melanoma.
