Lewis completed his undergraduate studies at the University of San Francisco and earned his bachelor’s degree in molecular biology and a minor in biochemistry. Following graduation, he began his graduate training in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) PhD program at Harvard Medical School and joined the laboratory of Dr. Joseph Mancias at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for his dissertation research. There, he is targeting the metabolic vulnerabilities of pancreatic cancer to induce cancer cell death with the ultimate goal of defining new strategies to combat pancreatic cancer metastasis.
