The Grunebaum Research Competition

Karin Grunebaum Foundation provides additional support to fund the cancer biology programming at Harvard. The use of these funds goes towards a poster competition, and the professional development awards for the best posters. The poster competition is typically part of the Spring Symposium held each year. 

We invite graduate students at all levels of their training to showcase their research in this virtual competition. Show us your big picture questions, the significance of your research, and why you are excited to work in this field. 

GUIDELINES

The science 

  • Big picture questions
  • The significance of your research
  • Why are you excited to work in this field?

The presentation 

  • A single static PowerPoint slide (no transitions, animations, or movement are allowed)
  • No additional media allowed (sound or video files)
  • Presentation is limited to 3 minutes maximum
  • Clarity

ELIGIBILITY

  • All HILS graduate students working in the field of cancer biology
