Students

The Landry Cancer Biology Consortium serves to enhance the recruitment of the best prospective students interested in graduate training in cancer biology by representing the breadth of cancer-related research taking place Harvard-wide. We seek to provide advanced training and opportunities for students to extend their studies and community beyond the classroom and thesis laboratory.

Like other graduate consortia, the Landry Cancer Biology Consortium will not admit matriculating students for graduate training; rather, the consortium will offer new cross-campus opportunities to complement existing curriculum for students in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) programs or committees. In this regard, the Landry Cancer Biology Consortium will not compete with the educational missions of the existing programs and concentrations but will offer a value-added opportunity beyond what is presently available

While curricular requirements will remain exclusively within the purview of the students’ home program, those students participating in the Landry Cancer Biology Consortium are encouraged to take one or more cancer-related courses.
